Role Summary:

            The Field Sales Representative I is responsible for the development and implementation of sales targets for all markets leveraging decanter centrifuge technology. This position plans and manages all sales efforts in accordance with established goals set by the General Manager

Role Priorities / Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new customers for company products and services
  • Tracks and facilitates Kubco customer RFQ/RFP list(s)
  • Develop and maintain rapport with existing and potential customer base
  • Anticipate, understand, and manage all existing and developing customer needs
  • Collaborates with all members of the Sales team
  • Communicates opportunities & internally logs them in the company database
  • Comply with short-term and long-term sales goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures
  • May assist management in the development of proposals
  • Assist in the MSA/Credit/COI process
  • Attend and participate in company/industry sales and marketing events as required
  • Adhere to individual expense (T&E) budget

  • Able to identify, qualify and close sales opportunities
  • Able to set individual goals and drive to achieve them
  • Able to foster and adhere to cohesiveness and coordination between Sales team, Operations, and office personnel
  • Able to follow the company’s expense and reimbursement policy
  • Able to uphold the highest standards in Kubco brand compliance
  • Working knowledge of contracting and negotiating
  • Willingness to commit to learning about all Kubco’s offerings, and be able to speak to each offering with prospective customers
  • Able to initiate, develop and maintain successful customer relations efforts
  • Excellent and professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to travel domestically throughout the United States (40 – 50 percent)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint


  • 2 – 8 years of sales experience in a similar industry
  • Sales certification or bachelor’s degree a plus
